Star Gazing on Troopers Hill
February and March 2014
The Bristol Astronomical Society came to Troopers Hill on two cold nights in February and March 2014. They had not been here before, so were delighted to find what a great location the Hill is for Star Gazing. They recommended we apply for a "Dark Sky" classification so that others will be able to appreciate the value of such a great location. This was done and Troopers Hill was designated as a Dark Sky Discovery Site in January 2016.
