Friends of Troopers Hill
Hedge Planting at Greendown
Sat 21 January 2006

Having spread the plants out along the fence everyone set about planting with great enthusiasm.

The shrubs were planted 400mm or 16" apart in two staggered rows.

A the top there was bramble to contend with.
We used sticks cut to length to get the right spacing.

There was plenty of time to stand and watch other people's techniques.

It is surprising how much can be achieved in a short time with enough help.

By lunchtime there was only a short section (nearest the camera) still to be done.
